CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT INTERN

As a Construction Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with the Riggs Distler project management team in support of our Offshore Wind business unit.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the review, preparation or edits of project budgets, invoicing, or cost estimates
- Assist Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers with the preparation or edits of Meeting Notes or Memos and other project correspondence
- Attend project meetings, budget meetings or Working Group Meetings with Project Managers and/or Assistant Project Managers
- Assist with document controls, creating and/or editing project documents and project set ups
- Review technical documents and prepare submittals
- Assist with RFI’s and Variation Order Preparation
Education, Skills, Experience Needed:
- A minimum of two years of full time, college education completed in Construction Management or Engineering
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (MS Word and MS Excel. MS Outlook)
- Familiarity with scheduling software preferred
- Ability to effectively present and communicate information verbally, graphically and in writing
