As the Director of Drilling & Foundation Operations you will be responsible for the operations of a turn-key foundation drilling business unit with capabilities in heavy hauling, rock drilling, rebar construction, foundation drilling, slurry/polymer pouring and concrete construction of large/deep foundations.

  • Provides leadership, direction, coaching and mentoring of project management team
  • Coordinates and implements construction schedules
  • Provides in-depth tracking and knowledge of all jobs
  • Manages financial control and accountability
  • Collaborates with estimating to ensure excellent results
  • Develops and is accountable for year-to-year fiscal annual budgets (e.g., revenue, overhead, capital expenditures, overhead and profitability)
  • Oversees field workforce
  • Controls labor, equipment, materials, and services
  • Works with safety leadership and field personnel to ensure RDC’s safety program is consistently followed.


Education, Skills, Experience Needed:

  • 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, with 10+ years in operations. Knowledge of transmission, distribution, and substation; drilled shaft concrete foundations, rock excavation, temporary and permanent steel casing, and slurry/polymer pour methodology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering
  • Experience in project management methodology
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent leadership abilities with strong emotional intelligence. Capable of motivating, inspiring and aligning teams behind a shared goal
