As a Junior Accountant you will perform various administrative and accounting functions in support of area accounting needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and post monthly journal entries
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc reporting and processing, including A/R invoice processing, credit card processing, customer cash application, etc.
  • General ledger reconciliations and analysis
  • Conduct job costing and financial analysis
  • Assist in SOX and GAAP compliance activities
  • Respond to and assist with internal and external audit requests and inquires
  • Perform other responsibilities as requested by management

Education, Skills, Experience Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience
  • Construction industry experience is preferred
  • ERP systems experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong computer proficiency, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptionally strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to accomplish all assignments against aggressive deadlines
  • Act in a professional and personable manner
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to problem solve independently or through collaborative efforts with various personnel
