As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the development of proposals for our Offshore Wind Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong estimating focus with a background in Heavy Mechanical / Electrical estimating and proposal development.

Responsibilities:
- Manages the proposal process from RFP through final product
- Reviews and analyzes solicitation and proposal documents
- Coordinates proposal team and insures timely submission of final document
- Manages potential bid opportunities and estimating, including site visits and evaluations with customers to support an effective process
- Research specifications and information surrounding the project and solicits pricing from material suppliers and subcontractors to determine the best fit as it relates to skills needed and competitive pricing
- Reviews, edits, or prepares estimates including material pricing, supplier and subcontractor selection, construction equipment and facilities, etc. to ensure customer specifications are met and company financial goals are achieved
Education, Skills, Experience Needed:
- 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in proposal development and estimating for heavy mechanical / electrical contractor
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or similar field; will consider a combination of education and relevant experience
- Solid ability in researching, analysis, planning and processing; strong organizational and time management skills; ability to handle competing priorities with strong attention to details and excellent follow through.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong leadership skills; excellent negotiation and influencing skills; ability to organize and motivate others, able to work through conflict; supportive of the team; highly accountable with a strong quality focus
- Excellent verbal and written communication; able to present well and collaborate with clients and team members in a professional manner
