As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for full cycle recruiting.  You will work closely with company management in developing talent and be an integral part of the Riggs Distler team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with company managers to determine hiring needs and sourcing options
  • Create and manage job requisitions, post jobs using various company and outside resources (LinkedIn, Job Boards, etc.)
  • Interact and develop relationships with headhunting firms
  • Propose solutions when candidate flow is lacking
  • Pre-screen resumes, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews
  • Create an excellent candidate experience
  • Develop and maintain relationships with career placement offices at educational institutions, trade schools, and professional associations
  • Plan, organize and participate in career fairs with an emphasis on on-campus recruiting.
  • Some travel required within the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern United States

Education, Skills, Experience Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of high-volume recruitment experience preferably in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of employment practices and employment law applicable to recruitment
  • Ability to represent the company in a professional manner at events
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external partners
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple mandates
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience working in an applicant tracking system, SuccessFactors a plus
