Christopher Johnston

Christopher is Vice President of Offshore Wind for Riggs Distler & Company, Inc. He is responsible for the overall performance, project execution, supply chain development, and the long-term strategy in securing Riggs Distler’s position in the United States offshore wind industry.

Chris joined Riggs Distler & Company, Inc. in 2018 as Vice President of the Substation group to start up and develop a long-term approach for Riggs Distler in the Utility Substation Civil & Electrical market. In 2019, Chris also took on the Vice President of Electrical responsibilities, including overall strategy and performance for both groups.

Prior to Riggs Distler, Chris was Division Manager for Mid-Atlantic Operations at Matrix NAC, a procurement, construction, maintenance, and repair services company in the North American energy and industrial market.

Chris has 25 years of experience in the engineering and construction services industry. He has completed the CII Executive Leadership Program at the University of Texas, and he graduated from Philadelphia University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc) in Accounting & Finance.
