Craig A. Zemaitatis

Craig is Vice President of Overhead Distribution operations with Riggs Distler & Company, Inc. He is responsible for the safety and operational performance of the Overhead Distribution (<34kV) operations for Riggs Distler, as well as the Executive Sponsor for all customers to ensure longevity and strategic growth through partnership initiatives.

Craig joined Riggs Distler & Company, Inc. in April 2006 as an Assistant Project Manager and was assigned to Progress Energy and Florida Power & Light operations to learn the business and assist in the expansion down south. After over 2 years in Florida, he was promoted to Project Manager in 2008 and given an opportunity to grow the local market in PA at PECO Energy. As Craig continued to expand the Riggs Distler team and was awarded new long-term Contractor of Choice contracts with BGE, PEPCO, ACE, and DPL, he was promoted to Operations Manager in 2014. In late 2017, he was appointed to his current role of Vice President, leading all Overhead Distribution administrative and operational support for Riggs Distler’s geographic footprint in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast territories.

Prior to Riggs Distler, Craig was an Engineer at Atlantic City Electric (ACE), an investor owned utility in New Jersey, performing field visits and load studies on existing distribution circuits to help design infrastructure upgrades for construction. He graduated from Drexel University and received his Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering – Power Systems, as well as his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering – Control Systems.
