Scott is the Vice President of the Overhead Transmission Lines group at Riggs Distler & Company, Inc.,  and oversees the performance of its Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, and Mid-West divisions.

Scott joined Riggs Distler in 2004 as an Assistant Project Manager for the Underground Utility division. After a few successful years, he was promoted to Project Manager of the Overhead Distribution group and was again promoted in 2011 to Operations Manager for Overhead Distribution in the Mid-Atlantic territory.

In 2013, Scott created the OH Transmission Lines group, a new line of revenue generation for Riggs Distler. In 2018 he was appointed its Vice President, growing the group by 800% over a period of five years. With an impeccable safety record for his team, Scott still leads the group today.

Prior to joining the team at Riggs Distler, Scott graduated in 2002 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University. While at Drexel, he worked with Flour Corporation, General Electric, and Merck. After graduation, Scott designed OCR hardware at Opex Corporation for almost two years.
