A Day on the Green for CityTeam

On Monday, June 9th, Riggs Distler’s Heavy Industrial and Generation Group hosted its third annual charity golf outing in support of CityTeam Chester and this year’s event was truly unforgettable. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, vendors, and clients, we exceeded our ambitious goal, raising over $100,000 to further CityTeam’s mission of transforming lives in the Greater Delaware Valley.

In just three years, the outing has generated more than $180,000 for CityTeam, directly aiding their efforts to provide vital resources for individuals and families facing homelessness, poverty, and addiction. Since 1989, CityTeam Chester has been a source of hope and stability, offering hot meals, fresh groceries, safe shelter, and residential programs for single women, mothers with children, and men on the path to recovery from substance use.

Following the outing, Riggs Distler employees visited CityTeam to personally present the check. These funds will greatly help CityTeam continue its important work in supporting the community.
