Our team upgraded an aging tower infrastructure along an important 115kV electrical transmission line in New Hampshire. We completed the project on schedule, ensuring safe operation and reliable electrical service for power users.

In 2024, we executed a 115kV energized line rebuild for our utility client in Rhode Island to support the anticipated increase in energy output from the Revolution Wind project.

In Massachusetts, we were contracted to reconductor approximately 20 miles of 13kV and 23kV circuits and replace over 500 wooden utility poles for an electric utility operating.

We replaced an aging 138kV transmission line stretching 24 miles across northeastern Illinois. Working under a tight schedule, we were selected to rebuild and reconductor the entire line.

We delivered improved electric infrastructure to utility customers by rebuilding 30 miles of 138 and 69kV transmission lines.

We installed 180,000 solar panels on 180,000 unique utility poles throughout our host utility’s network, delivering 40 MWs of solar energy to over 65,000 homes.

In New Jersey, we upgraded a 41-mile 230kV/138kV transmission line, strengthening the regional electrical grid and withstanding weather damage.

In New Jersey, we worked on a new plant and replaced outdated coal generating units with a 590 MW dual-fuel combined-cycle power plant, featuring GE’s 7HA.02 gas turbines and steam turbines housed in a dedicated turbine building.

In New Jersey, we built a 69kV substation in 4 months ultimately improving electrical service to businesses and residents.

In Virginia, from 2008 to 2018, we were the contractor of choice (COC), providing the manpower necessary to perform various preventative maintenance and system reliability upgrades across our host utility’s service territory.

Since 2008, our team has been working to resolve power connectivity issues for Pennsylvania residents by replacing and upgrading an aging electrical network.

In 2019-2021, our team constructed an air separation unit by providing heavy civil, mechanical piping, and equipment setting services. As a result, we carefully orchestrated every stage of the project schedule, realize efficiencies and cost savings for the client, and deliver the project on budget and schedule.

In Pennsylvania, we were contracted to replace over 220,000 electric meters with new smart meters and perform associated equipment repairs. End users and the client benefit from smart meters that provide more accurate usage information, are easier to service and repair, and improve safety for technicians and utility employees.

A 20 MWh battery storage system that boost grid reliability and involves civil construction, setting up utility poles, and electrical installations of an 800 kVA transformer, switchgears, and underground raceways.

From 2018 to 2019, we were contracted to provide environmental matting and environmental controls for the 61/62 Aquidneck Island Reliability Project, which upgraded and improved power distribution for residents and businesses.

We provided turnkey mechanical, electrical, and civil construction to deliver a biochar byproduct and methane-capturing facility that handles 130,000 tons of biosolids from landfills annually.

We were awarded a project to dismantle a boiler unit and its components, located in southern New Jersey, and relocate the entire unit to a refinery in Trainer, Pennsylvania.

In 2019-2020, we performed mechanical services and expanded existing propane and butane caverns and installed truck offloading stations at an important port and rail terminal in New Jersey.

In 2019-2020, our industrial electrical team delivered electrical installations for a hydrogen power plant at an existing refinery facility in Delaware on schedule and on budget.

From 2021 to 2025, we are the contractor of choice for all installation, maintenance, and repair work performed on our client’s electrical transmission system, a major East Coast power provider.

In New Jersey, we completed upgrades to three gas turbines and a hot water waste generator at an electrical generation site. As a result, the new units each produced 5.7 MW of electricity.

From 2014 to 2017, we installed 35,000 feet of piping at a power plant, ultimately delivering 751MW of combined cycle power to the client’s electric grid, enabling them to meet the growing demand for energy among South Jersey residents and businesses.

Advancing New Jersey’s RNG efforts, this plant captures and converts landfill gas into clean energy, reducing CO₂ and methane emissions.

From 2018 to 2022, we were the contractor of choice for the local utility in Maryland. We upgraded our client’s aging gas system by installing new gas mains and new services (including HDPE and steel gas mains) to improve reliability, safety, and capacity.

From 2018 to 2022, we upgraded 6 miles of natural gas systems in a residential area of Drexel Hill on behalf of a regional utility service provider. As a result, we delivered safe, reliable gas services on behalf of our client.

We are currently working to resolve poor power connectivity issues for residents in Pennsylvania by replacing and upgrading an aging electrical network.

Relocating a 15 kV underground system beneath a former steel mill using horizontal directional drilling (HDD) under train tracks and installing switches, raceways, and 130,000 feet of cable.

In 2020, our environmental matting team was contracted to build roads and provide extensive matting in support of a project to upgrade an aging electric transmission line in New Hampshire.

We were awarded a project to help our client meet Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) emissions requirements at a refinery in Pennsylvania.

In Pennsylvania, we mobilized a fractionator unit on behalf of a natural gas client to improve the function of the plant and deliver expanded gas services.

In 2018, under a multiyear contract, we assisted the host utility with their network overhaul by fabricating and installing regulator stations and large-diameter, high-pressure steel gas mains throughout the Westchester County service area.

In 2020, we assembled eight electric transmission towers, providing increased reliability and improved electrical service for citizens and businesses throughout coastal southern New Jersey.

In Maryland, we worked with a major gas and electric utility to engineer, procure, and construct electric vehicle charging stations. As a result, we reduced emissions and supported environmental sustainability.

In August 2020, Hurricane Isaias struck the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, causing 2 million customers to lose power. We rapidly deployed more than 350 employees, delivering timely, efficient restoration and critical support to our utility clients and their customers.

In August 2012, Hurricane Sandy made landfall along the mid-Atlantic coast, causing approximately $65 million worth of damage. We rapidly deployed nearly 400 employees and restored power to the citizens of New Jersey.

In 2019-2020, we provided extensive heavy civil, mechanical, and instrumentation services to support the construction of a gas plant in Delaware that became an integral part of the refining process.

In Rhode Island, we provided construction solutions for Revolution Wind, completed the reconstruction of a 13.5-mile 115kV energized line, and upgraded four substations to support the anticipated impact of wind energy coming onshore.

Our environmental matting team was able to beat the accelerated project schedule, completing the road and securing access to the client’s infrastructure in time for them to perform assessments before the scheduled upgrades, all while protecting the surrounding environment.

The Keyport – Belford New 34.5kV Line project involved constructing a new transmission line spanning approximately 5.63 miles, with comprehensive substation, distribution, and transmission work. Riggs Distler served as the general contractor, overseeing all project aspects under one hat.

We installed a ballasted photovoltaic solar power system at a 53-acre landfill, aimed to increase access to clean energy for residents.

In Medford, NJ, we completed three solar power facility developments generating 5MW on time and according to the client’s specifications.

This project replaced 445 wood structures with steel monopoles along the Garden State Parkway, using helicopter construction techniques for 14 pole installations to rebuild the 69 kV line.

From 2019 to 2022, in Clinton, NJ, we were subcontracted to furnish and install high temperature hot water piping and steam piping for prepackaged Boilers in a Box (BIB) for 26 buildings at a Women’s Correctional Facility. We completed the project on schedule and on budget.

We helped New Jersey build it’s first RNG plant that turns landfill gas into clean energy, using advanced filtration, tight teamwork, and two-shift construction to meet an aggressive schedule in limited space.

In 2021, we were contracted to construct new process lines for a major oil refinery in southern New Jersey that feeds a large-scale distribution system. We were able to complete all work safely, on budget, and on schedule.

We conduct facility upgrades, system reliability improvements, capital expenditures, storm restoration efforts, and Department of Transportation projects across Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Since 2015, our services provide end users with more reliable power.

In 2020, we installed a new oil-water separator at a Generating Station in southeast Pennsylvania. As a result, we completed all project work on schedule, and the new oil-water separator system was put into service the first week of December 2020.

From 2018 to 2020, we were the contractor of choice to a Maryland-based utility’s outdoor lighting group. We were responsible for providing and maintaining reliable outdoor street lighting for the client’s residential, commercial, and municipal customers.

We installed a photovoltaic solar system to deliver power to New Jersey residents in 2017. Now completed, the solar array produces 20MW of clean energy that powers approximately 2,100 homes in the Pemberton area every year.

In 2017-2018, multiple Category 3+ struck Puerto Rico, damaging the electric power grid. Through quick mobilization and utilization of helicopters, we restored a portion of the island’s power supply.

This sustainable energy project delivered 35 miles of biogas and HDPE pipeline linking South Dakota dairy farms to the gas grid, converting captured methane into renewable natural gas.

Inside a century-old Philadelphia building, we constructed a reverse-osmosis plant producing 2,000 gallons of demineralized water per minute, installing new switchgears, two 480V motor control centers, and two 120/208V power panels.

Our Underground Utility division was tasked with the installation of over 33,000 smart nodes in Maryland street lighting fixtures throughout 2023.

We were awarded the first US-based Tier 1 Contract for Secondary Steel for the South Fork Wind Farm.

Despite inheriting the project at 25% completion, we delivered a modern CHP steam plant generating 5.6 MW, recycling exhaust heat, and supplying 40% of campus electricity with improved efficiency.

In Fall 2024, Hurricanes Helene and Milton devastated the Southern U.S. Our electric crews mobilized across multiple states, restoring power and providing critical support to impacted communities and utilities.

In 2005, Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma caused widespread damage to nearly 3 million homes in the Gulf Coast region. With our teams ensured safety and helped restore power to tens of thousands of homes of citizens.

We provide 24-hour, on-call coverage for the host utility’s entire service territory. We’ve been the sole contractor since 2009, performing all maintenance and reliability work necessary throughout Connecticut, New York, and Maine.

We are currently the contractor of choice for all electrical substation work on behalf of a major regional utility operating throughout New Jersey.

From 2021 to 2025, we served as the contractor of choice for substation-related civil and electrical work on behalf of a major East Coast power provider. We delivered a streamlined, single-source answer to all client’s substation installation, maintenance, and repair needs.

In 2021-2022, we performed environmental matting and heavy civil services in support of a SkyWrap project to upgrade fiber optic cables. We successfully delivered results by providing adequate road building and safe passages across various environmentally sensitive areas via matted access/work pads.

In 2017, in Pennsylvania, we completed a difficult reconductoring project for a transmission line spanning the Susquehanna River. The 1.1-mile river crossing is supported by three lattice towers, one of which is installed in the middle of the river. Our work helps ensure a consistent and stable source of power for end users in this region.

Our Substation group completed the Texas Ave. 69kV Upgrade Project in 2023 in Lawrence Township, NJ. This award-winning project was a significant endeavor, with a comprehensive scope that included the installation of a variety of critical infrastructure components.

From 2019 to 2023, we were awarded the first U.S.-based Tier 1 contract for secondary steel for a 132-megawatt wind farm and completed several additional projects along the East Coast, including the Revolution Wind, Ocean Wind 1, and the Sunrise Wind project.

In 2019 to 2020, we were contracted by a major power provider to provide environmental matting services in support of a 315 & 303/327/3520kV transmission line refurbishment in New England.

Our team engineered, procured, and constructed a 0.5 MW, 2 MWh battery storage facility in West Caldwell, integrating advanced batteries, inverters, transformers, and supporting electrical infrastructure.

We added a third transformer bank, plus circuit breakers, disconnect switches, a CTPT Combo metering unit, and a new control building in Mahopac, boosting capacity and resilience for 35,000 customers.

In 2020, we performed environmental matting and civil services in support of a project to upgrade aging and damaged support structures along electric distribution lines in the White Mountains of northern New Hampshire. We completed the project on schedule and without disruption to the local community.
