In Rhode Island, we supported three interconnected projects, showcasing our versatile capabilities. As the primary construction contractor for the Tier 1 Revolution Wind Project, we hold the distinction of being the first to undertake the construction of offshore wind advanced foundation components of this magnitude in the United States.

  • External Concrete Platforms
  • Suspended Internal Platforms (SIPs)

  • MP Doors
  • Port Operations & Logistics, Including Load Out (FAS)

Overhead Transmission

  • Replace 148 Current Wooden Structures
  • Replace Existing 13.5 Miles 795 ACSR With 795 ACSS
  • Replace Existing Steel Shield Wire With OPGW
  • Drill 127 Direct-Embedded Holes
  • Install 47 Concrete Foundations For 19 New Structures

Substation

  • Upgrade Line Relays
  • Install New CCVTS & Line Tuners
  • Below Grade Grounding
  • Conduit Installation
  • Foundation Construction

Challenges and Results

In addition to providing construction solutions for Revolution Wind, we completed the reconstruction of a 13.5-mile 115kV energized line and upgraded four substations to support the anticipated impact of wind energy coming onshore. These interconnected projects reflect our comprehensive approach to infrastructure development, ensuring the construction of reliable infrastructure to support the future of energy in the U.S.
