Riggs Distler Presented with “New Jersey’s Leading Capital Construction Project” Award for Morristown-Legion Place Substation Upgrade
Posted on March 17, 2025 in News
Riggs Distler has been recognized with a New Jersey Leading Capital Construction Project Award from the New Jersey Alliance for Action for our work on the Morristown-Legion Substation project. This prestigious award, part of the 14th Annual program, celebrates innovative, impactful, and collaborative construction projects that drive economic growth across the state. Chuck Carter and Curtis Simpson (pictured far left) proudly accepted the award on our behalf along with our partners.
Located along the Whippany River, an area increasingly vulnerable to flooding, this enhanced infrastructure will help protect vital electric systems from rising water levels and severe weather, ensuring more resilient service for the community.

We extend a huge thank you to our partners and the NJ Alliance for Action for recognizing our team’s work and dedication to building a stronger, more reliable energy future for New Jersey!
