Centuri Hosts NMSDC Open House

“Diverse Opportunities in Energy Construction” was the theme of the open house hosted by Centuri along with the Pacific Southwest office of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (PSMSDC) on Tuesday, June 28 at the Marriott Phoenix Airport. Current and potential suppliers were invited to attend the special presentation and interactive panel event which featured leaders from Centuri and a number of its operational subsidiaries – NPL Construction Co., NBC Traffic Control, and National Powerline. Presenters were able to meet with potential suppliers and provide insight into Centuri’s prodcurement process – what is bought, how suppliers are chosen, and what procurement opportunities exist. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session and chance for suppliers to network. This is the second open house Centuri has participated in supporting the PSMSDC. In addition to regional events, Centuri exhibited at the 2015 National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) conference and expo in San Diego, and will exhibit again at the 2016 event slated for October 23-26, 2016 in Chicago.
