As a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for the management of multiple Construction Projects and/or Customers. You’ll work closely with the Customer(s) to complete all Operational requirements of varying size and scope. You’ll direct Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers (I, II, III), Superintendents and craft personnel to promote and ensure safe work practice and conditions.  Accountable for managing budgets, the operation’s P&L, and updating WIPs monthly. The salary range is $135,000.00 – $180,000.00.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large and/or multi-discipline construction projects ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget execution
  • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams
  • Maintain full accountability for project and/or program-level financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, WIP updates, and P&L management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring alignment on scope, expectations, and delivery
  • Oversee day-to-day project execution while ensuring alignment with overall project strategy and customer objectives
  • Review project estimates, contracts, schedules, and risk profiles to ensure a clear execution plan is established and maintained
  • Develop, manage, and drive project schedules, ensuring coordination across multiple crews, disciplines, and workstreams
  • Monitor project performance across safety, quality, cost, and schedule; proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Oversee and manage project invoicing, billing, cash flow, and accounts receivable to ensure financial performance aligns with expectations
  • Lead project reviews and forecasting efforts, including labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor planning
  • Manage change orders and contract modifications, ensuring proper documentation, pricing, and recovery of costs
  • Ensure quality control, constructability, and adherence to contract requirements across all project activities
  • Coordinate closely with internal departments, engineering partners, subcontractors, and customers to ensure successful delivery
  • Support execution planning for complex work scopes including access, environmental constraints, and constructability challenges
  • Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, process refinement, and team development

Education, Skills, Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of progressive construction management experience in overhead transmission and/or utility infrastructure
  • Experience managing drilling & foundations, matting/access, and civil access scopes for transmission projects preferred
  • Experience working with major utility clients (Avangrid, National Grid, Eversource) and understanding of their standards and processes preferred
  • Familiarity with EPC and/or E&C delivery models, including coordination across engineering, procurement, and construction preferred
  • Proven experience managing medium to large-scale transmission projects ($5M–$100M+)
  • Strong understanding of project controls, including scheduling (Primavera P6 preferred), cost tracking, forecasting, billing, and change management
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and contract negotiations
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities, including mentoring of PMs and junior staff
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers, executives, and field teams
  • Deep knowledge of high-voltage transmission construction practices, safety standards, and environmental compliance
  • OSHA 30 preferred
  • PMP preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as required
