Supporting Sustainability at the Local Level

Local community group Sustainable Audubon wanted to use renewable energy to power their utility shed in Audubon Family Park. Jeanne Mugler, Environmental Health & Safety Analyst for Riggs Distler & SA member, tapped our Helping Hands team to support the project this winter. As a heavy industrial, generation and utility contractor we are no stranger to renewable energy solutions (learn more here).
Our team volunteered to install a solar panel to power the shed. The project is now complete and the shed (which houses tools to maintain the rain garden and other supplies) is powered by 100% sustainable solar energy.
